Nestled in the peaceful valley of the Léguer, between the Côte de Granit Rose and the Côte des Bruyères, Lannion is also an important technology center particularly for the electronic, IT and Telecoms sector.

The 7 Islands Nature Reserve
Off the coast of the Côte de Granit Rose and Perros-Guirec, the 7 islands are the theatre for a magnificent ballet: with more than 20 000 pairs of seabirds and 27 nesting species, it is the most important reserve on the French coast. A sanctuary for birds before their long migration. If you want to observe this fabulous show, join a boat tour and enjoy the commentary about this protected natural reserve.
Relentlessly sculpted by the waves and the wind, the rocks of Ploumanac’h have taken strange forms and an equilibrium which defies reason. 300 million years old, the giant pink stone rocks in this almost unreal place, will be your companions on your unforgetable treks along the coastal footpath.
Pleumeur-Bodou, City of Sciences
It is through the radome, a gigantic white ball placed in the countryside of Pleumeur Bodou, that in 1962 the first television pictures were transitted by satellite from the United States. The flagship of the City of Telecommunications, the Radome is today a historical monument and a place where "son et lumière" shows depict this great adventure.
In the same tourist pole of Radome Park you can find the City of Telecommunications, the Planetarium of Brittany, the Gaul Village and ArmorScience (formerly ABRET).
The Management of the residence CERISE Lannion recommends a selection of good restaurants where you will enjoy local specialties.
You must taste:
- Bouchot Mussels and Oysters from Brittany.
- Rock Crabs and Spider crabs
- The Camus de Bretagne artichoke and the Paimpol beans
- Cod à la paimpolaise
- The craquants (biscuits) of Trégor
And of course the Breton cider!
