Presentation

CERISE Auxerre is a comfortable, economical hotel situated only 7km from Auxerre town centre and 10 minutes from the exhibition centre, the Auxerrexpo. The hotel has 62 double, twin or triple rooms, each equipped with flat-screen television.
Bed linen and towels are provided on arrival.
There is also a large free car park.

CERISE Auxerre is ideal for business trips as it offers direct access to major communication routes, but is also ideal for tourist holidays, as it is close to the main tourist attractions. CERISE Auxerre offers a buffet breakfast every day.

Accueil chaleureux par le personnel, petit déjeuner copieux à volonté, chambre et literie parfaite. Petit bémol pour la douche (un peu petite juste à côté du WC mais ça reste un detail). Vraiment très satisfait pour notre séjour.

Une petite chaise et une table pliable seraient les bienvenus dans la chambre. Odeur de tabac persistante malgré qu'il soit inscrit qu'il est interdit de fumer dans les chambres. pas de la faute de l'hôtel mais des clients non respectueux des consignes. j'ai du déboucher l'évacuation1 [suite] des douches. Chose qui devrait être faite de façon régulière par le personnel de maintenance. sinon pour le reste RAS [réduire]

Accueil cordial et bonne écoute de l'équipe.Le confort de l'hôtel est en lien avec le renouvellement des équipements, mais le matelas était nickel.Manque peut-être d'une petite table pour poser des affaires

Castle of Saint Fargeau

Saint Fargeau's castle dominates the town of the same name of its high towers.
You will discover: the Twin Towers of Bar and Toucy in the entrance (entry), the Main courtyard and the Main staircase, the furnished apartments, attics and skeletons, the surprising Tower of the Mill, ponds and the Big Trees of the Park of Chateau and the Guardroom Saint Fargeau's castle also shelters the hisorique " show ".

The medieval site of Guedelons

Under the eyes of many visitors, the medieval site of Guedelons rises step by step. More than fifty oeuvriers have for objective to build a Fort respecting techniques and materials used in the Middle Ages.
This historic challenge makes its contribution to the knowledge of the medieval military construction. Started in 1997, it should be completed by 2025.

Ratilly Castle

The Château de Ratilly (13th century). Discreetly nestled in the midst of the trees of Treigny, this authentic medieval fortress with its ferruginous stones will surprise you at the turn of a pathway. In the Renaissance a pigeon house was added and today the castle still has its four corner towers with two other towers which dominate the bridge lit by a 12th century lantern. Since 1951, the Pierlot family has created a place for the world of art in all its domains. Craft workshop for stoneware and a living art centre (exhibitions, concerts, music and painting courses).

Saint-Etienne Cathedral

Work of art dating from the middle ages (V-XV) and the "modern" age (XVI-XVIII), the Cathedral is roman crypt, a vestige of the previous building. The frescos of the famous Christ on horseback and the Christ in Gothic glory, remains of an important painting on the walls. The Chapel Notre Dame des Vertus (XVIè) where the Chancel and the Sanctuary were renovated in the 18th century.
