The aparthotel CERISE Valence has an air-conditioned dining area for breakfast. A terrace with tables and chairs is available during the summer.

Champ de Mars

Right in the centre of Valence, the Champ de Mars offers a magnificent view of the Château de Crussol, a listed historic monument, from its fountains, its many lawns and the Lovers' Kiosk.
Young explorers can enjoy themselves visiting Auxerre while having fun! Following a book of seven puzzles, children from 6 to 12 years old will follow Cadet'Chou around the city centre to visit, play and find mystery words to eventually discover the magic word! On their return to the Tourist Office, they will receive a small gift.

Lovers' kiosk

The story of this bandstand goes back to 1942, when Raymond Peynet was passing through Valence and saw it on the Champ de Mars esplanade. Charmed by the place, he captured the moment by drawing a love story of a young musician and a girl that would become a worldwide phenomenon a few years later.

Since then, Valence's bandstand has become Peynet's famous ‘kiosque des amoureux’, a historic monument since 1982.

Water towers

To the east of Valence, the contemporary Parc Jean Perdrix, covering an area of 26 hectares, is home to the famous water towers. Comprising two towers, 52 and 57 metres high, the water towers were designed by the Greek sculptor Philolaos. Defined as a modern work of art, it surprises its many viewers with dynamic forms that avoid symmetry at all costs.

Unique in the world, this sculpture has become one of the best works of urban art in France.

Do you have a business centre?

No.

What is the minimum age to book accommodation?

All guests must be at least 18 years old to stay in our aparthotel, or be accompanied by an adult.

What other general services do you offer?

We offer: loan of a hairdryer, loan of ironing equipment, luggage storage (free service), laundry, microwave, sale of drinks (bottled alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks)

Where can I exchange money?

You can exchange money at the banks located 850 metres from the aparthotel (Caisse d’Epargne, Crédit Agricole, La Poste).

Do you have a meeting room?

No, our aparthotel does not have a seminar room.

Whatever the reason, inform reception as soon as possible! We will do our best to find a solution!

Can I store my bike in a secure location?

Yes, please remember to bring a lock.

We are arriving by plane/train, does your hotel offer transfers?

We do not provide transfers, although we do have a partnership with a taxi company! We are able to offer negotiated rates for our guests, please contact us for more details.

I can’t find all the utensils I need in the kitchen, can I go to reception?

Of course! We have utensils and dishes in stock, please ask at reception. We also put an inventory sheet to report any missing items.

How often does cleaning take place? What do I need to do before checking out of the accommodation?

As far as the frequency of cleaning is concerned, it depends on the rate you have chosen. Our cleaning service and linen changes vary depending on the type of rate you have chosen. This information is clearly indicated when you book.
On your departure we ask you to leave the kitchenette clean and empty the bins or pay an extra charge.

Is there a laundry service at the hotel?

No, the hotel does not have a laundry service. However, we have a laundry room with a washing machine and a clothes horse.

Do you provide towels?

Of course! You will be provided with one bath sheet per person, please ask at reception if one is not enough (for an additional fee).

Is there air conditioning in the accommodation?

No, there is no air conditioning. However, we do have fans available on request from the reception (24 in stock, subject to availability).

Have you planned any renovations to your facility?

We are always looking to improve customer satisfaction. We are slowly refurbishing our establishment. We have recently replaced the carpets in some apartments, changed the shower hoses and added mixer taps in some bathrooms. We’ll continue to make improvements in 2016.

Can breakfast be served in my room?

No, breakfast cannot be served in your room. However, you can prepare your own breakfast in the kitchenette of your accommodation.

I found your hotel cheaper elsewhere, can I get a refund?

You will always find the best price on our website. However, if you happen to find it cheaper elsewhere, we promise to offer you the same rate with an additional 10% discount. See the terms of our “Best Rate Guarantee” promise.
