Overlooking the sea, the Grand Hôtel de la Plage, is a charming 1930s apartment hotel. Situated on a magical site in Royan, the hotel offers outstanding views over Pontaillac Bay with the Cordouan lighthouse on the horizon.
The Grand Hôtel de la Plage has 39 air-conditioned rooms, all of which are spacious and comfortable, some with a sea view. All the rooms are equipped with flat-screen television and safe-deposit box. Some rooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility (contact reception). Triple rooms are also available on request from reception.

The Grand Hôtel de la Plage is an ideal place for combining leisure, work and relaxation. There is one meeting room lit by daylight and with a sea view. An underground parking is available (12€ per night), it must booked with the reception.

La Palmyre Zoo
In the heart of the Beauty Coast and the beaches of Charente-Maritime, not far from the dunes of Royan, you will find one the most famous zoos in Europe: the Palmyre Zoo.
